Today a high of fifty, early 1:00 dissmisal, and mom's not home it was the perfect conditions for me to go see Penny. To walk and groom her, to hug her, and to feel her muzzle against my chest.
But no Brianna had ans ortho and I was stuck at home doing nothing. Eventually I played Mario Kart on the wii with my sis but its still no fun. Of all things I wanted to go see Penny today because on Saturday I have an Academic Team (cuz I'm a nerd) Tournament at another school all day. Oh Well.
ps~ if anyone was interested in last weeks visit with Penny, Just so you know it was cold, she was skittish, and we all had running noses.

It is too bad you didn't get to go see Penny. But warm days will be more common soon, so hopefully you will have more opportunities. We were hoping to be able to ride this weekend but they are predicting rain for us, so we may not be able to go. Bummer!!! I would be happy to advise your sister on a career in real estate.....I could talk about it for hours, there is so much to cover and so many different angles of the business to talk about. But I will say this -- it is a tough way to make a living. Especially for the first two years or so. You have to spend a lot of time, effort and money to promote yourself, and you won't have much money coming in. It is not uncommon to lose money while building your career. But it is like popcorn -- think of the "pops" as deals closing (real estate agents get paid only when the deal closes). At first only a few kernels pop, but then after a while, the pops come more frequently. My advice to her would be #1 - start working in an area where she knows lots of people and knows her way around, the different neighborhoods, etc. #2 - be in a position where you can get by on very little income for a while (having savings, living with family). #3 - get involved in community activities, church, clubs, anything where she will meet more people.
