(Penny is a Buckskin horse beloning to my uncle who well, doesn't really care about her.) Horses are to be tended to when hurt, to be feed at the same time every day, to have proper living conditions, to be given some manners, and most importantly loved.
Don't get me wrong, I love my uncle, its just that he is a tough guy who thinks the horse will be Perfectly Fine without him all the time but she isn't.
A goat used to be put in the same pen as her. And if you know anything about goats, they eat anything so her mane and tail are now black and short. When my uncle sold the goat for meat, Penny became very lonely out in the country 24/7 this was sad.
As I state was, I mean that I am becoming more dertimined to help her, I am learning more about horses for her sake, I got a grooming kit for Christmas and plan to do well with it. Horses need other horses and if only she would be mine I would keep her with a friend who has horses, I would train her at the age of nine. I love Penny so much and more.

Please don't think of yourself as "not normal" -- as you grow older, you will find that what appeared to be "not normal" at a younger age turns out to be "more well adjusted" later in life. I am 53 years old, I have a horse blog (www.horsetalkindiana.blogspot.com) and have fluctuated between "normal" and "out-there" during different periods of my life. But I can tell you this: being open to different things, and not being in the mainstream will serve you better in the long run. Hope to hear from you.
ReplyDeleteI hope that someday, Penny can be yours. You never know. Keep dreaming. But for now, she is lucky to have you to love her! :)
